This is a blank calendar coloring sheet dated for October 2027, designed for you to freely enjoy drawing illustrations and other artwork. The top features a large open space where you can draw, allowing you to freely depict the rich scenes of autumn—such as Halloween, sports days, fall foliage, and seasonal delicacies—to create your very own original calendar. It can be widely used for educational play at home, monthly arts and crafts projects at daycare centers and kindergartens, and recreational activities at senior care facilities.
Features of This Calendar Coloring Page
- Generous free space for creative expression: In the blank space at the top, children can draw whatever they like—or depict motifs unique to October, such as Halloween pumpkins (Jack-o’-lanterns), ghosts, acorns, chestnuts, maple leaves, and scenes from sports days. It also serves as a convenient base for collages using cut-out paper or fallen leaves.
- Designs for coloring numbers and letters: The year (2027), month (October), days of the week, and date numbers are all presented as white-outlined lettering. Children can have fun coloring them in their favorite colors.
- Includes furigana and English labels to support educational development: In addition to kanji, days of the week are labeled with hiragana (such as “nich” and “getsu”) and English words (“Sun” and “Mon”). This design is crafted to help children naturally learn numbers, words, and the days of the week through play.
- Simple Layout for Easy Schedule Entry: There’s a memo space below each date where you can write down plans and events, making it ideal as a family calendar for noting schedules for events like sports days, field trips, and Halloween parties.
Recommended Ideas for Use
1. For drawing pictures of Halloween and the deepening autumn season
October is packed with exciting themes, starting with “Halloween”—a huge hit with kids—as well as “sports day,” “acorn hunting,” “fall foliage,” and “sweet potato digging.” Try drawing yourself in a costume or some ghosts, and use orange, purple, and other warm autumn colors to create a vibrant design.
2. For fall craft projects and art exhibitions at daycare centers and kindergartens
These sheets are perfect for monthly art projects leading up to fall events and art exhibitions. They can be used not only for free-style drawing but also as a base for three-dimensional projects—such as nature crafts featuring fallen leaves and acorns collected on walks, or Halloween decorations made from origami.
3. For recreational activities at day care centers and senior care facilities
The clean date frames and large text help improve fine motor skills and support reminiscence therapy and orientation maintenance by evoking a sense of the season. You can use it for coloring activities while sharing memories of fall flavors or leaf-viewing trips, or as a sheet for tracking monthly goals or health management.
Printing and Usage Tips
When printing, please set the printer to A4 paper (portrait orientation). You can easily enjoy these activities using everyday art supplies such as colored pencils, crayons, and markers. If you plan to use paint or markers, or create a craft project by gluing on origami paper, stickers, or fallen leaves, printing on slightly thicker paper (such as heavy-weight art paper or drawing paper) will prevent the ink from bleeding through and ensure a clean finish.
