This is a blank calendar coloring sheet dated for December 2027, designed for you to freely enjoy drawing and creating your own illustrations. The top features a large open space where you can draw, allowing you to create your very own original calendar by freely illustrating heartwarming December scenes such as Christmas, snowy landscapes, and winter events. It can be widely used for educational play at home, monthly arts and crafts projects at daycare centers and kindergartens, and recreational activities at senior care facilities.
Features of This Calendar Coloring Page
- Generous free space for creative expression: In the blank space at the top, children can draw whatever they like—or create December-themed motifs such as Christmas trees, Santa Claus, reindeer, snowmen, and poinsettias. It’s also handy as a craft sheet for drawing pictures of desired gifts or pasting photos and stickers.
- Designs for coloring numbers and text: The year (2027), month (December), days of the week, and date numbers are all presented as white-outlined lettering. Children can have fun coloring them in their favorite colors.
- Includes furigana and English translations to support educational development: In addition to kanji, days of the week are labeled with hiragana (such as “nich” and “getsu”) and English words (“Sun” and “Mon”). This design helps children naturally learn numbers, words, and days of the week through play.
- Simple Layout for Easy Schedule Entry: There’s a memo space below each date where you can jot down plans and events. It’s designed to be a convenient family calendar for noting Christmas parties, winter break, year-end cleaning, and New Year’s outings.
Recommended Ideas for Use
1. For drawing pictures themed around Christmas and winter traditions
December is packed with fun themes, starting with “Christmas”—a favorite among children—as well as “playing in the snow and building snowmen,” “gloves and scarves,” and “the winter night sky.” Try creating vibrant illustrations using Christmas colors like red, green, and gold.
2. For winter crafts at daycare and preschool, or as a countdown calendar
It’s perfect not only for children’s free-style drawings but also as a base for three-dimensional crafts, such as snow made from cotton or Santa Claus and Christmas trees made from origami. It can also be used as a countdown calendar leading up to Christmas.
3. For recreational activities at day care centers and senior care facilities
The clean date frames and large text help with fine motor skills (improving dexterity) and serve as a tool for reminiscence therapy and maintaining orientation by evoking seasonal memories. It’s also perfect for activities like coloring while reflecting on the year that’s coming to a close or organizing plans for year-end events.
Printing and Usage Tips
When printing, please set the printer to A4 paper (portrait orientation). You can easily enjoy this activity using common art supplies such as colored pencils, crayons, or markers. If you’re using paint or markers, or creating a collage with fabric, stickers, or origami paper, printing on slightly thicker paper (such as heavy-weight art paper or drawing paper) will prevent ink from bleeding through and ensure a clean finish.
