What Does “のりしろ” (Norishiro) Mean?
On the left margin of this printable sheet, you will notice the Japanese text “のりしろ” (Norishiro). In Japanese, “Nori” (のり) means “glue” and “Shiro” (しろ / 代) refers to a “margin” or “space.” Together, のりしろ (Norishiro) means “the space where you apply glue” (glue margin / tab). If you want to bind multiple coloring sheets together into a book or attach it to a frame, this is the designated area for gluing!
