Hello, I’m Mamaanime, the founder and administrator of this site.
I launched Coloring Planet in May 2020! It is a pleasure to connect with you all.
In October 2021, I also became a certified Kids’ Manners Instructor to further support children’s growth and social development.
How It All Started
I am a proud mother of one wonderful son.
My son has developmental delays that affect his fine motor skills. Because he struggled to move his hands the way he wanted, he found it difficult to use his hands for precise tasks and really disliked coloring.
In May 2020, I came up with an original bus character named “Bassy.” Since my son took a huge liking to him, I decided to draw a custom coloring sheet featuring Bassy just for him.
“If Mommy made it, I want to try!”
At 7 years old, that was the very first time my son ever said coloring was “Fun!”
Overjoyed by his reaction, I kept creating more sheets. Remembering that the developmental support facility my son attended often utilized free coloring websites, I decided to launch this site to share my creations with the world for free.
