Celebrate Children’s Day with Koinobori Coloring!
In Japan, May 5th is “Kodomo no Hi” (Children’s Day). Families fly “Koinobori” (carp streamers) outside their homes to wish for the healthy and successful growth of their children.

Cultural Fact
The carp is chosen because it is a strong fish that can swim upstream. It symbolizes strength, courage, and the determination to overcome obstacles. In a traditional Koinobori set, the black carp represents the father, the red carp the mother, and the smaller ones represent the children!
